Bisola Neil

Supervised Fieldwork Advisor & Course Instructor

Bisola Neil is a quantitative researcher who has developed a critical theory to examine the relationship between attrition and the distribution of professional opportunities for teachers of color from a sociopolitical perspective. Her research explores the ways the inequitable distribution of educational resources and educational (dis)investment in children’s lives impacts teaching and learning. She has experience serving high-needs urban school districts as an administrator, coach, consultant, teacher, and university professor Her work is dedicated to identifying challenges and finding solutions at the classroom, school-wide, and district-level that will ensure all students have access to high-quality educational experiences especially in mathematics.
