Josine is an adjunct advisor in the Cross Age Early Childhood and Childhood General Education Program. She worked as a teacher, mentor, and administrator with students aged 4 – 14 in a wide variety of settings including progressive, traditional, private and public schools. Most recently, through the Bank Street Education Center partnership with the NYC Department of Education, Josine collaborated with site-leaders and coached Pre-K teachers in integrating mathematics using a playful approach and finding just-right math challenges for each child. Josine also facilitated professional development days about social and emotional learning for Pre-K for All teachers and site-leaders. She welcomes conversations about how social constructs such as race, class, gender, ability, and culture impact the experiences of children, families, and teachers.
