100% noted this course exceeded expectations. - 2021 and 2022

"The ways in which we were guided in exploring new materials, visualizing & planning projects, reflecting/revising our work, and sharing with our peers was just remarkable. We all started with the
same materials and techniques and it was incredible to see how many unique outcomes there were!"

"Not only did I learn/name some specific skills across different types of art, I am easily able to see how the work we did in class can transfer to my own classroom of first graders."

"Maria is absolutely a genius at [building community] because she finds subtle ways for all of us to be constantly interacting/giving & receiving feedback throughout class. I hope to translate some of these strategies into my middle school art classes this year!"

I came away with "knowledge and gained practice in art while seeding my own creativity"
