Paid Tutoring Opportunities to Support Underserved students throughout the City.

Learning Labs and New York Edge:

The City of New York has created Learning Labs to complement the Department of Education’s blended learning model.  This initiative is geared to support families who can benefit from additional support during these unprecedented times, essential workers and families living in homeless shelters and New York City Public Housing. Students attend Learning Labs on their days of remote learning. New York Edge has seven confirmed sites which will offer age-appropriate, enrichment, enhanced learning, and an array of youth development programming from 8AM to 3:00PM.
Job Opportunities:
The two Labs in Brooklyn are fully staffed. We are seeking Tutor Counselors and  Activity Specialists such as STEM and Literacy for the other locations.We have full time positions, 35 hours per week and part time positions which range from 20 -25 hours per week. Hourly pay rates range from $16-$22.
