Take a Class

At Bank Street, you will examine your own experiences in light of new ideas and new insights, offering opportunities for exploration, discussion, and reflection. Courses weave together theory, research, and hands-on experiences to prepare you to enter your chosen fields. We model the kind of learning experiences we want you to develop and enact in your practice.

There are two ways to take a class with us as a non-degree student:

Graduate School of Education Courses

You can take a course for graduate school credit through the Bank Street Graduate School of Education as a non-matriculated student. Courses are offered year-round in four terms: fall, spring, summer 1, and summer 2.

Continuing Professional Studies Courses

Continuing Professional Studies (CPS) is the continuing education program of Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Our short-format courses are offered for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) hours, Continuing Education Units (CEU), or graduate-level credit.
