Journey to Nia®: Purposefully Supporting Black Children to Thrive in Early Childhood (Ages Infant-10

Black children are magical. However, they experience a staggering number of disparities beginning in their earliest years. In this
interactive class, you’ll be supported to understand the history of anti-Black racism and its impact on Black children, and you’ll develop an action plan to create spaces for Black children to thrive in your setting. Journey to Nia® is a professional development experience guided by a curriculum rooted in history, research, and racially and developmentally appropriate practices. This class is appropriate for all early education professionals, no matter the racial demographics of the children in your care.
