Child Life Program Open House
Description:
The Office of Graduate Admissions is hosting a virtual open house for prospective students interested in our Child Life programs, scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 20201 from 7:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM EST.
Learn to support children, youth, and their families who are experiencing illness, surgery, trauma, injuries, and disabilities, in healthcare and community settings. In our Child Life program, you will learn to be an advocate as you provide family-centered care in a variety of settings.
At our one-hour event, we’ll talk about the program itself, the admissions and financial aid processes, and what it’s like to be a student in our program with representatives from admissions and the Child Life faculty. We encourage you to bring your questions, especially in terms of the program, application, and volunteer hours. COVID-19 has created many challenges for applicants, and we will give you the most up-to-date information about our admissions criteria that night.
