34th Annual Infancy Institute: Racial Consciousness and Social Justice

Description:
The annual conference highlights cutting-edge developments in research, relationship-based practice, and family-centered care and has educated thousands of infant/toddler specialists from around the world. This year’s event features a keynote presentation, “Baby Loves Themself Sooo Much!” Supporting Infants’ and Toddlers’ Positive Racial Identity Development, by Ijumaa Jordan and a featured presentation, “Reflections for a Better Tomorrow: Engaging in Equity and Social Justice” by José Velilla.

Cost:
$175 Early Bird (register by February 28)
$200 General Admission (register after February 28)
One (1) graduate credit may be earned by registering for EDUC 612 Infancy Institute: Infants, Toddlers, Families: Supporting Their Growth, paying the tuition fee ($1,660), and attending the conference and completing online work after the conference.

Participants will receive 9 Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) Hours or .9 Continuing Education Unit.
