Location:
Bank Street College of Education
Tabas Auditorium
610 West 112th Street
New York, NY 10025
Event Title:
Infancy Program Reunion 2026
Description:
We are inviting alumni of the Infant and Family Development and Early Intervention program, along with current students and faculty, to gather at Bank Street as part of the 39th annual Infancy Institute.
Each year, the Infancy Institute brings together the wider Bank Street infancy community across cohorts and roles. Within that larger gathering, this program-specific event creates space to reconnect, share where the work has taken us, and revisit the ideas and practices that continue to shape our field. We’re looking forward to making space for that this June.
4:30 PM: Featured Book Talk
Raising Change Agents: Practicing Social Justice in Everyday Parenting
Nat Nadha Vikitsreth, Author & Infant Mental Health Specialist
Nat Nadha Vikitsreth’s new book invites parents and practitioners into the kind of reflective, values-grounded work that sits at the heart of this field. It is the sort of conversation that will resonate with what brought many of you to this work in the first place. Books will be available for purchase on site through our partnership with Book Culture.
6:00 PM: Alumni Discussion
Following the book talk, alumni and current students will be invited to share wishes for the program’s future, swap stories from practice, and reconnect with colleagues across cohorts.
