Multiple Pathways to Learning in the Age of Accountability
Description:
Featuring keynote presentation by Nancy Cloud, Professor Emerita, M.Ed. in TESL Program, Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, Rhode Island College, Providence, RI.
The 2018 Language Series will explore teaching methods designed to support educators who are seeking to enhance their practice in spite of prevailing, one-dimensional accountability pressures. We will focus on student engagement in both language and content development through multiple pathways: music, project based learning, multimodal literacy, and others.
Dr. Nancy Cloud will lead us in the exploration of this topic in her keynote. Workshops with experienced practitioners will inspire and engage us through hands-on activities and specific examples. As a participant, you will take away concrete ideas for immediate implementation in your settings.

$195 Early Bird Fee when you register before September 30, 2018.
$265 Conference Fee when you register after September 30, 2018.
