Description:
Bank Street’s Brooklyn-based District 13 Teacher Residency Program in Childhood General and Special Education begins again this summer and offers the chance to earn your master’s degree with a hands-on apprenticeship in an elementary school classroom (first through sixth grade).
Interested in learning more? Join us for a virtual Information Session about our District 13 (D13) Residency Program on Monday, March 20 starting at 6:00 PM EST. You’ll graduate ready to be an equity-minded, confident, and effective change agent who has the experience to make a difference from the start in diverse settings.
More about this program:
- This is a two-year on-campus program
- In the first year of the program, students will have a full-time residency in an NYC District 13 (Brooklyn) public school and will earn a $20,000 stipend
- All residency cohort members receive reduced tuition
At our open house, you hear from members of the admissions team, the D13 Program Director Jess Wontropski, along with members of the certification and financial aid teams. There will be plenty of time to answer all of your questions.
