[Virtual Information Session]: TESOL, Dual Language/Bilingual Programs

You’re invited to join us on Thursday, November 3 for a Virtual Information Session focusing on our TESOL Residency, Dual Language, and Bilingual Education programs, starting at 5:00 PM EST.
If you are interested in working with students learning English as a new language (ENL) in grades pre-K-12, our TESOL Residency program is designed for you! No prior teaching certification is necessary for this program. Program highlights include:
- You will be hired as a teacher apprentice at one of the DOE’s International High Schools
- You will earn a salary of $22,500 plus benefits in Year 1
- You will be eligible to be hired as a full-time teacher in Year 2
- You will receive discounted tuition
Bank Street also offers Dual Language/Bilingual (for Spanish and Mandarin speakers) teacher preparation programs for those who wish to work in general and/or special education with young children, giving you the flexibility to work in a range of settings and engage with children from diverse racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds.
At our one-hour event, you’ll hear about these various programs from our faculty, and members of our admissions and financial aid teams will explain what you need to know about our application process. There will also be time for Q&A, so bring all your questions!
