Marylen Townley Massen is an instructor in the literacy program at Bank Street. She continues to enjoy her career as a reading and literacy specialist working with children and families. Devoted to the art of thoughtful, prescriptive literacy instruction, Marylen is the founder of the Read and Write NYC Learning Studio in Brooklyn where learners of all ages discover literacy with bespoke approaches.
