Bank Street educators are lifelong learners. Will Thompson, Bank Street Graduate School of Education alumnus and current Bank Street School for Children teacher, discusses how his teacher preparation experience at Bank Street influenced his own approach to teaching and learning.

TranscriptTranscript The Bank Street Graduate School has really influenced my teaching. There's this teaching of the whole child piece but teaching them academically as well as emotionally, which is really important to me as someone who's very empathetic. There's always been very much of an open door policy if I have a question, I know I can go to really anyone for me is really special as someone who's continually learning.

I have come to terms with the fact that I am truly a lifelong learner. I continue to be inspired by the information and interesting frameworks that exist in different fields that can be helpful to educators as we lead and re-envision our field.
