BSCAA Awards & Reception

The Bank Street College Alumni Association (BSCAA) will kick off the weekend by celebrating Graduate School alumni honorees at this year’s Alumni Awards ceremony and reception. Please join us in honoring the alumni below, whose outstanding work reflects the mission, beliefs, philosophy, and practices of Bank Street College.

The awards ceremony will include remarks from BSCAA officers and College leadership as well as acceptance speeches from each recipient. Then, guests will have the opportunity to reconnect over refreshments and stop by our new alumni author table, which will highlight recently published work from the BSCAA community.

Bank Street Legacy Circle: Honoring Alumni 50+ Years from Graduation

Join us for a special daytime gathering welcoming alumni who are celebrating 50 or more years since their time at Bank Street School for Children. Experience the school during the academic day, enjoy music from our Upper School Choir, and reconnect with the community that continues to grow from the foundation you helped build. The Class of 1976 will be recognized in honor of their 50th reunion, alongside alumni from earlier generations.

Reconnect, compete, and celebrate community! Join us for a friendly basketball game bringing together alumni, faculty and staff, and members of the School for Children community. We’re also excited to welcome a small group of 8th graders as they get ready to become alumni themselves. Whether you’re playing or cheering from the sidelines, come be part of the energy. All skill levels are welcome.

School for Children Class of 2021 — it’s been 5 years! We’re marking the anniversary with a festive opportunity to come back to Bank Street and celebrate all that you’ve accomplished. Stop by the play deck to collect your special reunion gift, let us know what you’ve been up to, and learn how Bank Street can support you in your academic and professional life. Then, catch up with your former classmates and teachers at “Encore! A 13/14s Musical Throwback.”

Join fellow alumni, families, and community members for a joyful look back at one of the School for Children’s most beloved traditions: the 13/14s musical. From unforgettable performances to behind-the-scenes moments, this informal gathering invites you to revisit the creativity, collaboration, and spirit that defined your experience. Explore photos and video clips from past productions, reconnect with classmates and teachers, and share your favorite memories.

We will also take a moment during the program to honor a longtime educator John Regis, whose leadership and care helped shape this tradition for decades. Whether you were on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, we hope you’ll come back to celebrate the magic together.

Join Bank Street for a fun day of entertainment, games, and activities for families, neighbors, and friends. Note that demand for hotel rooms in the city is high, and hotels are likely to sell out quickly, so consider booking early!
