All alumni of the Bank Street Graduate School of Education and School for Children are invited back to Bank Street for its annual Alumni Weekend. This event is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, expand your professional network, and learn more about Bank Street’s work and the exciting changes taking place on campus. We hope you’ll join us for this momentous occasion during a weekend of substantive and fun-filled events!
Our School for Children Alumni Class Delegates will help organize and lead activities and events at Alumni Weekend. Our 2026 Class Delegates will be announced soon.

BSCAA Awards & Reception

Tabas AuditoriumThe Bank Street College Alumni Association (BSCAA) will kick off the weekend by celebrating Graduate School alumni honorees at this year’s Alumni Awards ceremony and reception. Please join us in honoring the alumni below, whose outstanding work reflects the mission, beliefs, philosophy, and practices of Bank Street College.
The awards ceremony will include remarks from BSCAA officers and College leadership as well as acceptance speeches from each recipient. Then, guests will have the opportunity to reconnect over refreshments and stop by our new alumni author table, which will highlight recently published work from the BSCAA community.

The Class of 1976 will be recognized in honor of their 50th reunion, alongside alumni from earlier generations.

From unforgettable performances to behind-the-scenes moments, this informal gathering invites you to revisit the creativity, collaboration, and spirit that defined your experience. Explore photos and video clips from past productions, reconnect with classmates and teachers, and share your favorite memories.
We will also take a moment during the program to honor a longtime educator John Regis, whose leadership and care helped shape this tradition for decades. Whether you were on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, we hope you’ll come back to celebrate the magic together.

The Office of Alumni Relations has arranged discounted rates at the following Manhattan hotel for alumni attending Bank Street Alumni Weekend 2026. The rates below are valid for hotel stays on October 15–18, 2026. Rooms in the hotel blocks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note that demand for hotel rooms in the city is high, and hotels are likely to sell out quickly, so consider booking early!

Getting to Bank Street
We encourage guests to use public transportation whenever possible. Bank Street is conveniently located near the 1 train (110th Street and 116th Street stations) and several bus lines, including M4, M5, M11, and M104.

Absolutely! Alumni Weekend is open to alumni from all class years, programs, and generations of the Bank Street community.Will food and refreshments be provided?
Light refreshments or meals will be provided at select events. Specific details will be included in event descriptions on the registration page.What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If you are unable to attend a paid event, please contact the Alumni Relations Office. Refund requests received by September 15, 2026 will be considered. Unfortunately, refunds may not be available after that date due to event planning and catering commitments.Will photos be taken during Alumni Weekend?
Yes. Photographs and video may be taken during Alumni Weekend events and may be used by Bank Street College for promotional, educational, and archival purposes, including on our website, social media channels, and publications. If you have concerns about being photographed, please speak with a member of the Alumni Relations team at check-in.What happens if there is inclement weather?
Most Alumni Weekend events will take place rain or shine. If severe weather requires changes to the schedule or location of an event, registered attendees will be notified by email and updates will be posted on the Alumni Weekend website.
