Adrienne King

Student Services Advisor (SSA)

Adrienne King is a Student Services Advisor (SSA) at Bank Street Graduate School of Education. She received her BA from Herbert H. Lehman College and her MSEd in Higher Education Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College. She has been a student financial aid administrator for 29 years and has conducted student financial aid workshops at different venues throughout the New York City area.

In May 2019, Adrienne was elected as the first African American president of the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA). She began her two-year term as president at the October 2020 Conference. Currently, Adrienne serves as the Immediate Past President of NYSFAAA. She also serves as a member of the Executive Board for the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Adrienne is a member of the New York Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

As an SSA, Adrienne supports students in the following programs:
