Emotionally Responsive Schools Conference

Through this course, you will develop your mastery of supportive techniques for building safe and nurturing school communities through an understanding of child development, social and emotional foundations for learning and well-being, and parent engagement. We will work together to deepen your understanding of Emotionally Responsive Practice (ERP) and how to implement these techniques in early childhood, elementary, and middle school settings and with specific children. Emotionally Responsive Practice is consistent with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s definition of trauma-informed care. This program is recommended for teachers, social workers, and administrators.
