As Bank Street reaches the fifth and final year of our ambitious 2015 strategic plan, we are excited to begin planning for our 2020 strategic plan. As part of this planning, we want you, our alumni community, to be active partners in the process. Creating a space to hear your voices and experiences will guide our thinking and planning.
Therefore, our Bank Street College Alumni Association (BSCAA) would like to cordially invite you to join our second quarterly meeting for our Strategic Planning Alumni Townhall. At this meeting, you will learn more about BSCAA and hear from our Strategy & Operations team, who will present a brief 30 minute presentation about the 2015 strategic plan and our plan looking forward to 2020.
Highlights from the presentation will include our work in:
- Graduate School of Education
- Children’s Programs
- Bank Street Education Center
- Alumni Relations
- Social justice and equity
After this presentation, we will break out into small groups to facilitate meaningful conversations about what alumni envision for Bank Street in 2020.
A plan tells an institution’s story—where it is today and where it is heading. In the words of Bank Street founder Lucy Sprague Mitchell, a plan begins with the familiar, but does not rest there. It gradually moves away from the immediate and looks toward the future.
We invite you to let your voice be heard and join us on December 10 to help us in guiding Bank Street.
