Event Title:
Infancy Institute
“Beyond the Behavior: Understanding the Behavior of Children, Adults, and Ourselves”

Description:

The Infancy Institute is an early childhood development conference that provides training and intensive workshops for professionals who work with infants and toddlers. We welcome caregivers, teachers, directors, trainers, home visitors, parents, early interventionists, developmental specialists, social workers, family childcare providers, and others who support young children in a variety of settings.

This year’s Infancy Institute on June 28, 29, and 30, 2022 will be in a hybrid format. Approximately 100 participants will join us in person at Bank Street’s campus, while others who are not able to attend in person will join us online. As with our recent virtual Infancy Institutes, people may join us live or access the recorded workshops.

Our keynote speaker Mr. Chazz, parent coach/teacher coach, will help us understand behavior and how to teach emotionally healthy habits to our youngest children. Susanne Walker Wilson will be our featured speaker and will share trauma-informed and resiliency-focused tools to encourage regulation. Workshops about families, curriculum, development, infant mental health, and more will be offered throughout the 3-day event.
