This virtual fall series is for parents of children ages 3-13 who want to learn more about children’s responses to the changes that have come into their lives in the wake of COVID-19. See the list of topics scheduled below. Attend the entire series or select topics that are relevant to you:

• Session 1: Understanding and Responding to Children’s Regression in Times of Change | Wednesday, November 11 at 8:00 PM
  Regression in the face of change is common in children. If the children in your life are reacting to the life changes and losses brought about by the pandemic by regressing, this session may address your concerns.
• Session 2: Six Emotionally Responsive Activities to Help Children Thrive at Home | Wednesday, November 18 at 8:00 PM
  Inviting self-expression in trying times can help to relieve anxiety, as children feel comfort when their parents act as partners in holding difficult experiences.
• Session 3: The Value of Routines and Limits for Children in Troubled Times | Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 PM
  When life changes abruptly, children can become disorganized and feel at loose ends. Challenging and daring behavior can ensue when familiar routines and structures are no longer in place. Nurturing routines and secure limits can help.
• Session 4: Helping Children with Anxiety in the Time of COVID-19 | Wednesday, December 9 at 8:00 PM
  Children absorb adult anxiety readily in uncertain times and can generate their own as well. This session focuses on ways to contain children’s anxious feelings in a time of change and loss.

Registration Fee
