Alumni Tutoring Network Meeting (March 2023)
Description:
Alumni Tutoring Network meetings are open to all Bank Street Graduate School alumni, including working tutors and other educators who are considering entering the tutoring landscape. Come share your tutoring techniques with our support group of tutoring alumni! We encourage non-tutoring alumni interested in learning new information or networking opportunities to join us as well.

Learning Specialist, Lower School, Greene Hill School, Brooklyn, NY
Melanie will offer tutoring strategies to differentiate curriculum and teaching and provide instructional support for individual students. She will suggest ideas for collaborating with specialists, psychologists, and other student support, as well as give examples on planning and executing small group literacy lessons and how to communicate with parents about individual student strengths, weaknesses, goal setting, and progress.
