Transcripts and Enrollment Verification

At some point in your academic career, you will need to order an official transcript or request a letter verifying your status as a Bank Street student or graduate. Below is a step-by-step guide with all the information to request transcripts and information to help you request a letter of verification.

Notice: Due to recent announcement for New York State to have 100% reduction of employees, all College offices are working remotely at this time. The Registrar’s Office is accessible via email at registrar@bankstreet.edu and will be replying to your emails as soon as possible.

For students and alumni who wish to request a transcript, please know that due to limited access to the campus, we ask that you submit all transcript requests electronically, via email. The form to request a transcript can be found on our web page. Please be advised that normal processing time for transcript requests is 3-5 business days; however, if you require a transcript during this time, the processing time may take longer than expected. At this time, overnight and emergency transcript orders cannot be processed until further notice.

  • Transcripts

    To order official copies of your transcript, please complete the Transcript Request Form (pdf). If you do not need an official copy of your transcripts but you would like to view your unofficial academic record, please visit our Grading page.

    At this time, transcript requests should only be sent via email to registrar@bankstreet.edu.

  • Fees

    The cost per transcript order is:

    • $7 for the first transcript
    • $2 for each additional transcript ordered at the same time

    Payments can be made via Visa, Mastercard, money order, or personal checks. We require payment before we are able to release transcripts.

    International Overnight Shipping Charges vary based on location and weight of the package. Please email the Registrar’s Office to find out the exact overnight overnight shipping cost. Transcripts will be sent via regular ground mail unless overnight shipping is specified.

  • Processing Time

    Transcript requests take one business week to process from the time we receive your request. Transcript requests may take longer to fulfill during high-traffic registration periods. Please view our Academic Calendar for registration periods. Transcripts will be sent via regular ground mail unless overnight shipping is requested.

  • Requesting a Transcript Without Form

    If you do not have access to the above form, please send a written request to the Registrar’s Office with the following information:

    • Your name
    • Any name previously used at Bank Street College
    • Your address
    • Your phone number
    • Your date of birth
    • Attendance (approximate)
    • Address where you would like the transcript sent
    • Your signature
    • Whether you want a student or official transcript
    • Mastercard or Visa Card Payment Information (Please include expiration date and 3-digit CVV code)
  • Same-Day (Emergency) Transcript

    Same-day transcripts must be requested in person between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM in the Registrar’s Office. Requests submitted during this window will be ready for pickup by 3:30 PM on the day of the request. These emergency transcripts will be assessed and an additional $10 emergency transcript fee will be charged. You can request only one transcript for same-day processing.

  • Express Transcripts

    Transcripts can be sent via express mail through USPS for an additional cost of $20. “Express” applies to mailing time ONLY. The processing time of one business week will still apply to express transcript requests. You can request express shipping with a note on your request form.

  • Grades
