MSEd and EdM Degrees at Bank Street

At Bank Street, you’ll find a number of master’s degree programs that lead to a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) or a Master of Education (EdM). As a graduate student in one of these programs, you’ll immerse yourself in a deep study of educational theory and how to apply those strategies to classrooms and other learning environments.

In addition to generic, cross-disciplinary programs, we offer specialized options tailored to certain age groups, content areas, and career opportunities.

MSEd or EdM?

If you have already completed an MSEd program or if you meet the admissions requirements, you might want to consider enrolling in one of our advanced Master of Education (EdM) programs. See below for a list of programs that lead to an MSEd and another list for those that lead to an EdM. Please note that there are several programs that can be completed for either degree based on prerequisites.

Meet our alumni
To know people, to have connections—This is another Bank Street value—how we build relationships, like working together on the residency program. I think it’s going to prove to be a really good idea, and we’re curious about the ways that it’s going to roll out and have a great impact on both communities.

One of the most important lessons I learned was that no one can impact change without support. This program encouraged me to create and develop relationships with people through teaming, building capacity, being clear with expectations, providing actionable feedback, and creating systems to check and ensure quality.
